Your advocate for Saco.
Saco is a great place to live and work.
As your voice in Augusta, I work tirelessly
to make a positive impact on major decisions
that affect our quality of life, property taxes,
schools, jobs, and our environment.
Investing in education
I support funding quality public education. This session, I voted to increase funding for Saco Schools so that our students can access the best possible education and opportunities.
I am working to promote access to higher education, so everyone has the opportunity to realize their full potential.
I supported strategic investments in our state university and community college system that will connect Maine students with programs in demand by Maine employers, including nursing, engineering, computer science, and trades. I will continue to support keeping in-state tuition affordable.
Growing our economy
Developing a vision for the future of Maine’s economy must be our top priority. I am invested in that future, and I have made it my focus, both for the generations that preceded me and those that will follow me.
To plan for a diverse and robust economy, we must support Maine entrepreneurs who are already working to create good jobs here.
I have prioritized grants, loans, and tax incentives that benefit Maine businesses that are on the path to growth. I voted to improve existing tax credits for graduates with student loans so that more young, educated and skilled workers can put down roots in Maine.
Protecting our environment and natural resources
As a former state park ranger and Maine Conservation Corps member, I understand the value of our natural resources for our economy and our quality of life.
I have worked to enhance state conservation efforts and support industries that rely on our natural resources from fishing and farming to tourism.
